Not been able to access members area since Friday last week - I've felt soooooo isolated!!!!!!!!!!! I've missed you all! It makes me realise how much I rely on being 'in touch' even tho I don't contribute often! I feel able to relax now

This is the first time I've been able to log on since Friday. Did ring NRAS up earlier this week, I had read on facebook that some member s could log on but others couldn't. Was told that anyone who paid by direct debit, due to a problem with the web page couldnt login.
Thought I'd try this morning, not expecting to get on but here I am. So nice to be back!!!!!

I too was unable to access the members area. I really missed it. this is the first day I have been able to get back on. I felt bereft and emailed NRAS twice begging them to give me a temporary log in code. Thank goodness I am back on now. This experience made me realise how much I depend on this forum. In the meantime I checked out other forums. I quite liked the RA chicks forum which you can access from face book. I made 2 american friends and have found it interesting to see how their system works. It made me even more grateful for our NHS and I have learnt a lot. I also delved into the RA Warriors site which was good. But nothing beats communicating with my fellow UK RA friends on this forum. So glad 'to be back'. Naomi X

Hello All
Yes I have been 'banned' as well for 6 days . . . . I rang and advised I could not log on because there was a problem with peeps who paid by direct debit..
Glad it is all sorted now.

I haven't had any problems logging on I don't pay by direct debit though. Naomi, I go on to RA Chicks site too and RA Warrior, and like you find it interesting to find how their system work in U S A. We are very lucky to have our NHS system, I've heard that if you don't have correct health insurance that your meds will be stopped. One woman had not had meds for over a year due to no insurance and the exhorbitant price of the drugs. I felt so sorry for her. BARBARA

Barbara, I was amazed that in the US it seems common practice to get attorneys (or lawyers) involved in claims for state benefits. Maybe we should do that in the UK and we might have more success in accessing the benefits system! I will look out for you on RA chicks. Best wishes from Naomi.
